Browser FireFox

Netscape Navigator
Netscape
Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer
Apple Safari
Apple Safari
Version 1.0.5+ 8.1+ 6+ Not Quite...

Why is there sometimes a blank thumbnail?

Sometimes you might see a blank thumbnail in the left panel. It might just be a "white image" which has nothing on it, or it could be an animated image.

Why am I sometimes prompted for a password?

Images found by Netvue are downloaded to your browser directly from the servers they are hosted on. On rare occasions those servers choose to password-protect their files after having been crawled into the index. Do not enter a username/password if prompted to do so.

What about copyrighted images?

Images seen through Netvue Image Search are downloaded directly from their sources. No images are saved on the Netvue servers. All images show are accompanied by references to the original pages they were found on. You may visit the refering page by clicking the hyperlink under the current image being shown.

Can I license individual images from Netvue Image Search?

No. Netvue does not provide licenses to use individual images for private or corporate use. The original images are the property of the copyright holders and they must be contacted for this purpose (see above). Netvue does not grant this permission and should not be contacted.
