Hi i have been using the beta netvue app for a few hours.
Android issues so far:
1) notifications window, doesn't show the preview picture straight away.
2) netvue app shows all cameras as disconnected, app needs to restarted to show all cameras again.
Functions to add:
Limit the amount of times the bell rings on the phone when the doorbell is pressed as appose to it being continuous.
1.What do you think of this update?
I was unable to get the latest version, it said "This is the latest version", mine is ending in 1145.
2.What issues do you want us to improve the most or what features you desire the most?
My camera has sound issues a lot when watching the live feed from somewhere else, both the camera and my phone where I'm watching is on 100MB+ wifi.
3. Any issues you might encounter during the usage of beta firmware and the new Netvue App
I have been invited to be part of this Beta test, and just wanted to give my initial observations:
The downloading of the app was a little cumbersome due to it being from an unknown source, however once it was installed, it updated the cameras firmware without an issues at all.
I havent had a chance to test the motion record quite yet, but looking around the app, it looks very similar to the stable version. The only minor error is that 'Activate Auto Renew' is spelt wrong, it says 'Avtivate auto renew'. Its only a tiny thing, but I thought you would want to know 🙂
I'll add further comments once I have had a chance to test it properly 🙂
